TLP New Print release

Half a year ago we decided that our mural in Hollywood Florida was faded so bad after 9 years that it was time to redo the same wall. Unfortunately there was minimal funding for this venture so our friend Jeremiah at @endtoendgallery very kindly offered to sell the print to fund the project even though he would make no money himself. It was humbling to see someone selflessly offer to help the process in return for a new mural in his city.

A month before the mural start date Jeremiah started reaching out to collectors with the images for presale under the premise this was like a crowdfunding exercise to help TLP return to Hollywood and repaint the wall. Obviously we needed to cash in before the start to cover initial costs.

However 10 days before we were due to go to Florida the owner of the building dropped the bombshell he'd decided to sell the building and had to cancel on us. With flights and hotels already booked our friends at the Downtown Hollywood Mural project went into overdrive trying to find us another wall. Each time we found a new wall some other problem came up culminating in the last wall option cancelling three days before we were due to arrive. So in the end the whole project was sadly cancelled.

However because Jeremiah had already started selling the prints 'to fund our mural' some people started accusing him online of being misled and selling prints under false premise.

We can only apologise to anyone who felt that and we wish to exonerate Jeremiah whose intentions were only good. The whole situation was totally out of our hands and his.

Anyway we are happy to say that we are still selling the prints with Jeremiah but just to confirm the profits will now be split between ourselves and the gallery as normal.
