Three 'Lad' characters drawn on a Barcelona building in 1998 (The London Police art)

“Who cares wins.”

We started by drawing small characters around the streets. The next step was to go to other cities to spread the love.

After a couple,

of years only drawing on the streets we started to paint on canvases and produce small shows in galleries and shops.

As time moved on,

the idea to make bigger scale pieces was the obvious progression. This was in combination with more places embracing mural culture in their cities.

We have always,

been influenced and inspired by the 80’s and 90’s which was the time we grew up. Movies, youth culture and music feature heavily in our canvas work.

Numbers are something…

We can all associate with. Everyone wants to know the meaning of the numbers. What’s your theory?

We love,

creating everything we do by hand. Computers are rarely involved in the creation process. We pride ourselves on top notch craftsmanship.

“The LADS characters are already world famous….it’s just that no one knows it yet.”

— An early Chaz quote from a first interview in 2000

We knew,

we had something special.

There was good chemistry in our friendship and this led to good chemistry in our artwork. The two things go hand in hand.

We entered,

the digital realm making our first NFT this year. We hope with more to come.
